Caleb Guevara Physical Therapist
Caleb Guevara, PT, ATC earned his Masters in Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Dayton, Ohio and his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Westfield State University in Massachusetts. With more than 19 years experience working in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation Caleb puts a great emphasis on seeking the best methodologies and techniques to help his clients get results. Over the course of his career Caleb has treated hundreds of athletes of all levels of competition. Clients include professional baseball players, hockey, NCAA Division Two Men’s and Women’s Athletic Teams, bodybuilders, boxers, gymnasts, ballet dancers, triathletes, ultra runners and 2012 Ironman World Championship. Caleb served as the lead therapist for a “Class A” professional baseball team The Dayton Dragons Cincinnati Reds in Dayton, Ohio. He is also experienced in hand therapy, aquatic rehab and pediatrics. Caleb is trained in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and he is the only Physical Therapist in Ventura and Santa Barbara County certified in Active Release Techniques (ART).
Caleb was born in New York City and raised in a farm in the tropical island of Puerto Rico. Where his parents still reside. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
When he is not helping his clients meet their physical goals. Caleb enjoys photography, camping, backpacking, mountain and road cycling, surfing and running around training for his next marathon, triathlon or adventure race. He has completed 10 marathons including the Boston Marathon twice and a full Ironman. His next goal is to complete a 100-mile ultra-marathon next year. Caleb also has a passion for travel having visited 44 countries in 5 continents and all 50 states except North Dakota.
