Candacie Guerreiro Physical Therapist Assistant
Candacie Guerreiro is a military wife, a mom of two beautiful girls, a physical therapist assistant (PTA) and an athletic trainer from south Mississippi. She has been working in physical therapy on and off for eleven years in outpatient orthopedic clinics and in home health. Her patient care skills range from pediatrics to geriatrics with experience treating neurological, orthopedic and lymphedema cases. In 2007, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS then received her PTA associates degree in 2013 from Pearl River Community College in Hattiesburg, MS. Candi’s passion for physical therapy rests in the reward that comes with helping patients achieve their goals, whether it be returning to work or sports, or gaining functional independence for activities of daily living. Her favorite pastime is spending time with her family and watching her daughters compete and practice gymnastics.
