Mike earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University. Prior to completing his Bachelor’s degree, Mike spent two years in Guatemala. While in Guatemala he learned Spanish and enjoys speaking it daily with his patients.
Mike has over 14 years of clinical experience working in outpatient physical therapy clinics. He also has experience working with patients in a variety of settings including orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, acute and subacute care. He also has Integrated Clinical Experience at Massachusetts General Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, New England Baptist Hospital, Boston VA Hospital, and, Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Mike is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its local California Physical Therapy Association chapter.
He enjoys being with his beautiful wife and 3 children. In his spare time he enjoys music by playing guitar, listening to records, and attending local concerts. He has participated in many sports including football, Olympic weightlifting, swimming, biking, and track and field. He also likes to get out into nature at the beach or on a scenic hike.
