I wanted to take a few moments to say thanks to Stephanie and everyone else at 2nd Wave Physical Therapy in Port Hueneme. Thanks all! I really appreciate the time you took to get my knee back in shape. You worked me hard, but fair. And when I slowed down a bit or my form got sloppy, you got me back on track so I received all the benefit of the exercise.

I’m still doing the exercises for my knee, but I’m adding a number for my lower back as well. I just had a procedure done on my back that has eliminated the pain, for now. I spent 45 minutes yesterday and today and will do another 45 tomorrow on my knee. Sunday is my day of rest, but I’ll be back at it on Monday. On both the knee and back.

You all inspired me to stick with the exercises for the long term. I’m also adding some more to improve my balance, which was bad. I’m sure they will pay off as well.

this is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a medical-related facility! everyone in the office knows me by name, as I do them. it’s a super welcoming atmosphere and I appreciate the consistent check-ins throughout my appointment to see how my body is feeling with given exercises. I never feel any pressure to complete something if my body is saying not to. I honestly have nothing but great things to say about this location, they have allowed me to enjoy my injury recovery process the best I can! Thank you Second Wave (:
