Everyone here is so kind and welcoming. I usually feel uncomfortable around male medical staff, but all of the male staff are professional, respectful, and make me feel at ease. They truly make everyone feel welcomed. Right now I feel self-conscious about my lack of mobility, but they always listen, encourage me, and help me feel more confident in my progress.

To put it mildly, the professionals at Second Wave have humbly given me a second chance to know strength and range of motion. I am 67 years old and unfortunately on the most important career day of my young life, then age 24, had a major car accident. Car landed on top of me resulting in extreme neck trauma. Fast forward to a mere age 30 back injury ending up in surgery. 43 years of my life spent in terrible debilitating discomfort with pain at every turn. Andrew, Sean, Candy, Jacob and Armando have all been utterly instrumental in my ability to once again, look up and see my beloved clouds. Driving will be less foreboding, if not truly enjoyable again. Years of extremely limited range of motion have been given some magic and my back is stronger and my posture so much better, too! My case is chronic. Herniated discs, spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis and much more. I will never be "healed" but life IS ENJOYABLE now after so many years of disabling pain. I have had physical therapy for DECADES. I have never ever experienced This level of improvement. Second Wave here should be your destination and these professionals will cry with you and (adorably) make you laugh along the way. Laughter is after all the best medicine. I am beyond blessed to have landed at this GEM.

Had a great experience at Second Wave, specifically with Monika at the Port Hueneme office. From my first appointment to the last, I felt completely at ease and genuinely cared for. Monika’s expertise, passion for her work, and attentive care made a world of difference in my recovery. Thanks to her, I found much needed relief from sciatic pain. And while I hope to not need physical therapy again anytime soon, if that day comes, Monika at Second Wave will be my first call.

Strained my neck playing soccer and after 3 months of no improvement, I decided to head to physical therapy. In as little as a month I was 100% healed up and back to normal. Thank you to Monika! and the rest of the team there is super friendly as well! Highly recommend

I can't say enough about the staff in Port Hueneme. I have issues with my balance that discouraged me from going anywhere. Stephanie, Summer and Monika have and continue to help me tremendously. My balance has dramatically improved; more than I possibly imagined. I am very grateful to them all.

My experience at second wave PT was above and beyond! They are the kindest humans around town, completely made me feel like family, and the healing process was very fast with my PT Jennifer. She knew exactly what was going to work and never too much massages. Which was my favorite part of my session! I highly recommend this PT and they except all insurances as mine was Gold Coast.

Second Wave Physical Therapy is an awesome place for Physical Therapy. My PT is Andrew Latta and he does and awesome job helping me recover from a Knee Revision Arthoplasty. My orthopedic doctor has specific instructions and Andrew is right on point. I went to PT with a pain of 10 and left with 0 Pain my first day. I believe they are a very qualified team at Second Wave Physical Therapy. Highly recommend them. The staff is very friendly as well.
